Divided into clear film and diffused film; Clear film (60 microns—100 microns) is mainly used for grape and vegetable greenhouse while film (120 microns—200 microns) for flower and nursery greenhouse. The diffused film is used in high UV light districts.
1. TOYOTANI Film Instruction
(1) Development History
In the year 2002, registered “TOYOTANI” brand, cooperated with other companies to produce TOYOTANI film.
In the year 2011, FLC imported the full set of a production line to produce films for high-quality greenhouse.
In the year 2016, production capacity reached 11,000 tons and annual output of film was 4,300 tons

(a) Quality feature: TOYOTANI film is manufactured by Japanese standards, multi- functions, 4-years’ quality guarantee, especially the light transmission and tensile strength are much higher than national standards and other brands of film.
(b) R & D feature: Under the leadership of FLC CEO, Japanese and Chinese engineers formed researching group to solve and research different problems happened during production.

TOYOTANI ®used Japanese formulation, combined more than 10 years’ Chinese greenhouse film data, based on many years’ practice, and then created the unique film with Chinese characteristics.

2. TOYOTANI Film Detailed Instructions
FLC film plant has many research staffs, dedicating to research and develop films for many years, keep long terms of strategic cooperation with MITSUI CHEMICALS, KYOWA, Chinese Academy of Science Chemistry Institute and Chinese Academy of Agriculture Science, based on the advanced Japanese management, laying a solid foundation for producing films. Through many years’ improvement, production capacity and film quality have reached the international leading level, as a result, TOYOTANI film took more and more market shares around the world. Besides, FLC founded excellent quality control and tracking system to ensure all customers satisfied.
TOYOTANI film is used with imported resin and produced by 3 layers extrusion equipment, under the guidance of Japanese experts to research film formulation, guarantee the product quality steady on raw materials, equipments and technology experience, etc, does not pollute environment, adapt to multi-span greenhouse, tunnel, and sunlight greenhouses, improve crops output and quality, so TOYOTANI film is the option to plant flowers and vegetables for growers.
TOYOTANI film has many different functions, like strong tensile strength, high light transmission, better thermal insulation, shock resistance, deformation resistance, long use life, and anti-dripping etc, which can satisfy customers’ different requirement.
Mixing polyolefin and masterbatch, then transporting to extrusion machine, extruded by 3 layers extrusion mold, through blowing, stretching, cooling, then folded in rolls.
TOYOTANI film has the width from 60 microns to 200 microns, fixed roll length 350m. We can cut or weld to according to the size customer’s request.Three layers extrusion, extruded by 3 sets of extrusion machines, finally gather and blow at the mold position.
TOYOTANI film function features
(a) Long use life
TOYOTANI film uses acid-resistance light stabilization additives, UV-absorber and antioxidant, guarantee 3 years for 120 microns, 4 years for 150 microns and 5 years for 200 microns. Enough additives can keep physical strength for a long time while acid-resistance light stabilization additives can anti-pesticide.
(b) High percentage of light transmission
Light transmission means the percentage of light crossing from outside to inside of greenhouses, visible light needed by crops is from 400 to 700 nanometers, which is used for photosynthesis of crops. TOYOTANI film uses high light transmission Metallocene to ensure light transmission percentage up to above 90%, above 88% even after long time use.
(c) Better mechanical behavior
In TOYOTANI film formulation, added more than 30% metallocene resin, resulting in higher mechanical strength than common resin, improves wind-resistance ability.
(d) Sustainable anti-drip and anti-fog functions
Among three layers, the middle layer can hold more anti-dripping additives;the combination of large and small molecules can ensure film anti-dripping performance, low-temperature performance, high-temperature performance and timeliness.
(e) Good thermal function
Compared to common film, TOYOTANI increases thermal layer, added thermal additives and EVA, which is helping to separate infrared and decrease heat consumption in night time.
Adding antistatic in the outer layer can reduce dust to adhere to the surface of films and adjusting proportion of resin can reduce physical absorbing to ensure film anti dust in an outdoor environment and also improve light transmission.
(g) Other custom-made diffused film
FLC can manufacture diffused films with diffusion rate above 60%, which can keep the light inside of greenhouse well-distributed. High diffusion rate can make crops grow and mature faster, improve outputs of crops, this kind of film is especially used in some strong sunlight, high temperature and long-summer districts like nearing equator area.
